Office Building Complex Transformed to Obtain LEED Platinum Certification
A highly marketable office building, originally built in the 1985, was recently renovated towards a Green certification. The asset has been certified according to the special LEED version for Core & Shell, applied to assets intended for lease. The building complex consists of three buildings with a total over ground leasable area of ca. 13.000sqm and was selected for upgrade and certification, an investment of approx. €7 million, due to its strategic location, offering high visibility and excellent accessibility.

The Opening of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center
A new landmark piece of modern architecture is scheduled to open its doors to the public. This grand cultural complex is Athens’ newest gem, courtesy of the non-profit Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) and architect Renzo Piano. The SNFCC (Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center) will house the National Library of Greece, an Opera House and a 42 acres landscaped park.

GLASSCON working on a high end building envelope with motorized solar louvers
GLASSCON GmbH is currently realizing a high end building envelope with external motorized solar shading system. The glass louvres are made by coloured ceramic frit glass and are supported through special custom-made stainless steel fittings designed by GLASSCON.
